Namely, contracts can be negotiated per hour, per diem, fixed price and can even allow for the possibility that the consultant could eventually become your employee. Each contract is constructed to measure and for a specific time duration, per mandate.

The typical contract will include a clause that allows for the replacement of the consultant, under certain conditions, prior to the end of the mandate.
